About Dr Katalin Csoka
L.Ac., Diplomate in Acupuncture, Ph.D., M.D.
Dr. Csoka studied conventional/western medicine in her native
country Hungary and received her medical degree in 1979 with
"summa cum laude". Her professional practice encompassed
family medicine and lung diseases and she is a licensed
Pulmonologist (1983).
After ten years of practice in Hungary she moved to
Scandinavia, Sweden, where she obtained her Ph.D. in Clinical
Pharmacology by taking postgraduate courses at Uppsala
University (1997). Her interest has been deeply rooted in the
treatment of cancer patients by using a unique laboratory test,
which could predict the treatment outcome of chemotherapy.
Dr. Katalin Csoka is also a highly respected practitioner of
Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. She trained in the
USA, CA, in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). She feels that
illnesses and disorders are due to distortions in the body’s
energetic network or in organ dysfunction.
Dr. Csoka is an energetic, enthusiastic practitioner,
passionately interested in her patient’s welfare and improving
their life. She has both, Traditional medical knowledge and
Eastern wisdom to assist her in understanding diseases and
finding the best medical intervention to restore the patient’s
health and wellness.
Dr. Csoka is author of many articles published in professional
journals in relation to cancer.
