Biography

Dr. Katalin Csoka studied conventional, western medicine in her native country, Hungary, and received her medical degree “summa cum laude”. Her professional practice encompassed family medicine and lung diseases, and she is a licensed Pulmonologist. Dr Csoka speaks English, Swedish, and Hungarian.

After ten years of practice in Hungary she moved to Scandinavia. In Sweden she obtained her Ph.D. in Clinical Pharmacology by taking postgraduate courses at Uppsala University. Clinical Pharmacology is the science of drugs and their interaction with each other and the human body, and their clinical applications. Her interest has been deeply rooted in the treatment of cancer patients, utilizing her experience in Western medicine as well as her knowledge of Eastern Medicine.

Dr. Csoka is a highly respected practitioner of Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine in Orange County. She trained in CA in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). She feels that illnesses and disorders are due to distortions in the body’s energetic network or in organ dysfunction.

Dr. Csoka, an energetic, enthusiastic practitioner, passionately believes in her patient’s welfare and in improving their life. In practice, with her training in traditional Western medicine and knowledge combined with Eastern wisdom and a continuing thirst for the most current research in both, she benefits her patients with a wide variety of contemporary best practices and provides the best medical intervention to restore the patient’s health and wellness.
