It would be very beneficial for society as a whole in the United States to change the way we think. We are programmed not to pay attention to minor potential problems until they manifest on the physical level. We are so programmed by the ‘magic bullet’ ideology of the western pharmaceutical corporations that many people feel that it is not necessary to make changes until a physical problem manifest.  Then we seek out help through the western magic bullet called drugs. If the magic bullet does not work, then we can always cut out the diseased tissue through surgical means.
